The first half of the Road America Superbike double header was held today in wet, slick conditions. With crash carnage everywhere, the race was called on the ninth lap, with Neil Hodgson (Ducati) declared the winner. Points leader Mat Mladin (Suzuki) finished second, with Josh Hayes (Kawasaki) finishing third to take his first Superbike podium.
