In the sands of Lierop, Netherlands, Stefan Everts won both motos in the MX1 class to clinch his unprecedented 9th title. Everts is certainly the greatest Grand Prix Motocross racer in history.
This only heightens the anticipation of the battle of the titans of motocross, Ricky Carmichael and Stefan Everts at the September 25, 2005 Motocross des Nations in Ernee, France.
