Although we have seen no official announcement from Suzuki, more than one reputable source has been reporting as early as Friday of last week that WSB star Chris Vermeulen will be a teammate of John Hopkins on the Suzuki MotoGP squad in 2006. Vermeulen has had two, relatively impressive performances aboard a Camel Honda MotoGP bike in the last two rounds, including Australia and Turkey. Previously, Vermeulen had been expected to stay within the Honda camp and arrive in MotoGP aboard a Honda with a satellite team. We will let you know when Suzuki makes an official announcement.
