You would think that a European traveling to the United States to race the GNCC series here for the first time would need a year, or two, to get adjusted and try for the championship. Ten-time World Enduro champion Juha Salminen didn’t need any time at all.
Salminen finishes his first GNCC series with the championship title, and 9 wins in the 13 race series. Total domination. The KTM-mounted Salminen will be back next year . . . this time with the number one plate on his bike.
