The World Supercross series kicked off today at the Rogers Center in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Kawasaki’s James Stewart started the series off strong with a main event win in the premier class. He was followed by Ricky Carmichael (Suzuki) in second and Chad Reed (Yamaha) in third.
In the Supercross Lites exhibition race, it was Davi Millsaps who took the win in his first race aboard his new Honda. Second went to KTM’s Josh Hansen, and Honda’s Billy Laninovich took the final step on the podium.
Tonight’s race win gives Stewart an early lead in the championship points race. For additional details, results and points, visit the official World Supercross GP site here.
