No, this isn’t an article about cocaine. It’s about James Stewart and why he won the first two rounds of the World Supercross GP held in Canada. His line selection was so superior that he had his main competitors baffled.
After the first race in Toronto, he had Ricky Carmichael so impressed that Carmichael went back out to walk the track after the race. At the second round in Vancouver, during his heat race, Stewart cut inside Chad Reed in an off-camber corner — taking a line Reed never expected. Reed was later seen experimenting with the same line in the same corner.
The bottom line is that the crafty veterans are learning from James Stewart every race. We will find out how well they have done their homework at Anaheim on January 7.
