After the first race in Toronto, he had Ricky Carmichael so impressed that Carmichael went back out to walk the track after the race. At the second round in Vancouver, during his heat race, Stewart cut inside Chad Reed in an off-camber corner — taking a line Reed never expected. Reed was later seen experimenting with the same line in the same corner.
