With the first round of the AMA Supercross series in Anaheim almost here, Ricky Carmichael will be eager to avenge his defeat by James Stewart in the Canadian World SX rounds.
As you might expect, Carmichael has been training hard since the last Canadian round a few weeks ago, trying to find some extra speed to deal with James Stewart, who won both rounds up North on his new KX450F. Carmichael reportedly is now riding more aggressively on his own big Suzuki RM-Z450, has made some bike set-up changes, and has found more corner speed.
Carmichael is definitely determined to return to his winning ways in 2006, and he is applying all of his famed determination to training and improving his supercross riding. Will it be enough to defeat the blazing speed of Stewart? We will find out in just a few short days!
