Conspicuously missing from Suzuki’s early release 2007 models is the V-Strom 1000 (the V-Strom 650 appears largely unchanged). Is Suzuki planning to introduce a redesigned V-Strom 1000 this Fall? It wouldn’t surprise us.
You may recall that the V-Strom 1000 was introduced by Suzuki a couple of years prior to the smaller 650cc version. It makes sense that Suzuki would redesign the larger bike first. This style of machine (large enduro or “trailie”) has long been very popular in Europe, and is gaining favor here in the U.S. The original V-Strom 1000 was a great bike, and we are anxious to see what Suzuki might do to improve it for 2007.
