Young Dani Pedrosa (Honda) is on pole, while former World champ Colin Edwards (Yamaha) qualified 15th (just 4 places behind his teammate Valentino Rossi). This is a series littered with former World champions, all-time greats and legends. It has also been infiltrated this year with a new set of talented youngsters (Pedrosa, Stoner, and Vermeulen). The talent in MotoGP today is literally breathtaking. What an era!
