Ricky Carmichael (Suzuki) had another perfect day at the Unadilla round of the AMA Motocross championship series. Carmichael went 1/1, while Kevin Windham (Honda) finished second overall with 3/2 moto scores and Davi Millsaps (Honda) finished third overall with 2/3 moto scores. Carmichael continues to enjoy a huge points lead in the championship series.
In the Motocross Lites division, Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki) finished first overall (2/1) ahead of second overall Andrew Short (Honda; 3/2) and Mike Alessi in third overall (KTM; 1/7). Villopoto moves ahead of Alessi in the series standings.
