The three-evening Bercy Supercross was held this weekend in France, with home rider Christophe Pourcel, the reigning MX2 champion, taking the crown of King of Bercy with 1/2/5 finishes. Pourcel (Kawasaki) finished behind countryman David Vuillemin (Honda) in two of the three main events, with Vuillemin winning both of those races. Unfortunately, Vuillemin had a horrible opening night — a mechanical DNF which kept him from capturing the crown.
The team event was easily won by Team France, while Team USA finished a distant second with horribly inconsistent riding from its members.
