In a moving video posted on the Internet, former AMA champion motocrosser David Bailey, now living with a spinal cord injury, strongly endorsed use of a protective brace designed to prevent neck/spinal cord injuries, the Leatt brace. Take a look at the video here.
With the seemingly unending parade of horrendous spinal cord injuries we have witnessed in the sport of supercross in the past few years, Bailey’s endorsement of this device, and his urging of existing stars to wear it in competition, is something the entire industry should take note of.
