Troy Bayliss (Ducati) and James Toseland (Honda) left with the lions share of the points following today’s round of the WSB championship at Phillip Island, Australia. Finishing first and second in each race (with Bayliss winning the first, and Toseland winning second), the Ducati and Honda battled closely in each contest, with the second race ending with Toseland barely beating Bayliss to the flag. Third place in race one went to Max Biaggi (Suzuki), while Yamaha’s Noriyuki Haga finished third in race two.
Toseland leads in WSB points after two rounds, while Bayliss hikes himself up to third in the points standings behind Biaggi. For additional details, results and points, visit the official WSB site here.
