Ever since the format of the Daytona 200 changed to 600s, rather than superbikes, Kawasaki has not been much of a factor. That changed today when Attack Kawasaki teammates Steve Rapp and Ben Attard finished first and second in the prestiguous marathon event. Michael Barnes (Suzuki) finished third.
To say that Honda had bad luck today would be a gross understatement, as pre-race favorite Miguel Duhamel and teammate Jake Zemke both had mechanical problems end their races prematurely.
