Little known Roehr Motorcycles announced its intention to begin production in 2008 of a sportbike powered by Harley-Davidson’s
Revolution engine found in the HD V-Rod. According to company founder Walter Roehrich, the “V-roehr” will be one of the finest sportbikes available, with “ideal chassis geometry and mass centralization” provided by the steel and aluminum composite beam frame. In the pictures, you will note the side-mounted radiators (Honda has done this before) allowing Roehr to move the engine further forward for improved chassis balance.
The carbon fiber bodywork, Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes and Marchesini wheels contribute to the estimated price of $39,995.
An interesting concept that we will watch closely. Here is a link to Roehr’s website.
