An interesting day of racing at Donington Park today ended with Yamaha’s Noriyuki Haga taking the second race victory over Max Biaggi (Suzuki) in second and Troy Corser (Yamaha) in third. Haga finished the first race in fourth, while WSB points leader James Toseland (Honda) took the victory over Corser in second and Biaggi in third.
A highside early in race one resulted in damage to the little finger on defending champ Troy Bayliss’ right hand. Toseland, following his victory in race one, suffered a mechanical DNF in race two.
