A re-energized Ruben Xaus (Ducati) won Race 1 of the WSB round in Valencia earlier today, while finishing fourth in Race 2. Filling out the podium in Race 1 was Noriyuki Haga (Yamaha) in second place, with Troy Bayliss (Ducati) in third. Race 2 saw WSB points leader James Toseland (Honda) take the win ahead of Max Biaggi (Suzuki) in second and Haga in third.
