Ricky Carmichael (Suzuki) knotched his 100th career AMA motocross victory today at Budds Creek with 2/1 moto finishes. On equal points, but finishing second overall, was James Stewart (Kawasaki) with 1/2 moto finishes. Yamaha’s Chad Reed finished third overall with 3/4 finishes today. Carmichael stretches his lead in the championship series.
In the Motocross Lites division, Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki) took the overall win with 1/1 scores. Rounding out the podium were Ben Townley (Kawasaki; 2/2) and Jason Lawrence (Yamaha; 3/3). Villopoto leads the Lites championship series.
