The silence from Kawasaki has been deafening. No official word on the condition of James Stewart following the injury to his knee two weeks ago. On the eve of his weekend showdown with Ricky Carmichael at Millville (the last such showdown of his career), we don’t know if James is ready to ride or not.
Moto-related web sites report he has been on crutches of late, but will try to ride nonetheless. Things may not be looking good. Stewart may never win an Outdoor Motocross Class title before switching to a supercross-only contract next year. We will know for sure on Sunday.
