Chad Reed (Yamaha) won the Anaheim Supercross main event this evening over second place Joshua Hill (Yamaha) and third place Kevin Windham (Honda). James Stewart announced after practice that he would not race this evening due to a re-injury of the same knee he hurt last year outdoors. Stewart said there is a good chance he will miss next week’s race as well.
In the Western Region Lites main event, Ryan Dungey (Suzuki) took a narrow victory over Broc Hepler (Yamaha) in second place. Young Austin Stroupe (Kawasaki) finished third.
Reed and Dungey lead the points in their respective championship series. For additional details, results and points, visit the official AMA Supercross site here.
