After a hard crash by race leader Chad Reed (Yamaha), Honda’s David Millsaps came through with the Supercross class win tonight in Atlanta. Honda swept the podium with Kevin Windham finishing second, and Andrew Short finishing third. Reed re-mounted to finish in sixth place. Reed still has a healthy points lead in the series.
In the opening round of the Eastern Region Supercross Lites series, Honda-mounted rookie Trey Cannard took the victory, with Martin Davalos (KTM) finishing second and Ryan Sipes (KTM) finishing third.
