England’s MCN is reporting that BMW will introduce a 675cc, three-cylinder sportbike to complement the 1000cc four-cylinder superbike it announced a few weeks ago. MCN even claims that a U.S. dealer has discussed taking deposits on the 675 on its web site (which we could not locate).
Triumph, of course, offers a 675cc, three-cylinder supersport machine to compete with the four-cylinder, inline bikes from Japan. The rumored BMW 675, if a reality, would be produced and available sometime down the road … probably at least two years away.
