Two-time British Superbike champion Ryuichi Kiyonari (Honda) put his track knowledge to good use today by taking both wins at the Brands Hatch round of the WSB championship. In Race 1, the Ducatis of Troy Bayliss and Max Biaggi finished second and third, respectively. In Race 2, Kiyonari was followed home by the Yamahas of Noriyuki Haga and Troy Croser, with points leader Bayliss finishing way back in eleventh.
