It would be hard to argue with the fact that the 2008 MotoGP series was dominated by two Bridgestone riders, Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) and Casey Stoner (Ducati). Between them, they took the lion’s share of the victories this year and finished first and second in overall points. Next year, of course, all of the riders will be on Bridgestones.
Will Rossi and Stoner remain the top two riders in MotoGP in 2009 when Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Hayden and others switch from Michelins to equal rubber (Pedrosa already rode Bridgestones in the final few races of the 2008 series)? With all of the riders on Bridgestones, will someone else emerge as a dominant force to challenge Rossi and Stoner? Email us with your thoughts.
