Motorcycle sales have been hit hard by the current economic downturn. Financing is part of the problem, but consumer fear may be the biggest part. Particularly in this country, where motorcycles are more often toys than essential transportation, manufacturers must be gravely concerned about the prospects for a turnaround in sales.
