We told you last year about rumors of BMW Maxi-scooters, with various displacements including a twin-cylinder, 800cc, 70 hp monster. Designer Oberdan Bezzi lives near BMW’s design center in Italy, and provided us with his vision of what such a scooter might look like.
Oberdan’s vision utilizes the four-valve, parallel-Twin Rotax motor from the F800-series bikes, along with telelever front suspension, a lay-down monoshock under the powerplant and 16-inch wheels. “It will be the most sophisticated super-scooter on the market and will be able to have a large range of exclusive accessories,” writes Oberdan. We’d expect nothing less from BMW.
