Chad Reed (Suzuki) won his first Supercross main event this year last evening in Indianapolis. An exciting race with James Stewart (Yamaha), who finished second, ended with Reed and Stewart tied for the series points lead. Finishing third was Mike Alessi (Suzuki), who gained his first podium after an horrific crash last year outdoors.
In the Eastern Region Lites main event, Austin Stroupe (Kawasaki) beat teammate Christophe Pourcel to the checkered flag, with Nico Izzi (Suzuki) finishing third. Pourcel holds the points lead in the series.
