The final round of the AMA Motocross championship was held yesterday at the Steel City track. Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey was crowned champion of the 250 class after finishing second in each moto. Christophe Pourcel (Kawasaki) won both motos to take the overall victory. Finishing third overall was Blake Wharton (Honda; 8/3).
In the 450 class, Thomas Hahn (Kawasaki) took the overall win with 1/4 finishes, while Ivan Tedesco (Honda) finished second overall with a 4/3. Finishing third overall was Justin Brayton (KTM) with an 11/1. Chad Reed (Suzuki), after clinching the 450 title a few weeks ago, finished second in Moto 1 and pulled out of Moto 2.
