The WSB championship visited Magny Cours earlier today, and Ducati’s Noriyuki Haga took the lions share of the points to leave with the championship lead. In Race 1, a close battle saw Ben Spies (Yamaha) beat Haga to the line, with Max Biaggi (Aprilia) finishing third. Race 2 saw Haga take the win ahead of Biaggi in second and Jonathan Rea (Honda) third. Spies finished in fourth in Race 2.
