The final race of the 2009 MotoGP series was held at the Valencia track earlier today, and Honda’s Dani Pedrosa came away with the win (his second this year). Finishing second and third, respectively, were Yamaha teammates Valentino Rossi (already declared this year’s champion) and Jorge Lorenzo. Pole sitter Casey Stoner (Ducati) crashed on the warm-up lap, and did not start the race.
