Last evening in Dallas, Ryan Dungey (Suzuki) scored an important supercross win, while championship rival Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki) could only manage fourth place following a poor start. Honda riders David Millsaps and Trey Canard filled out the podium in second and third place. Dungey stretched his points lead in the championship.
In round five of the Eastern Region Supercross Lites, Blake Baggett (Suzuki) scored his first professional win ahead of second place Ryan Sipes (Yamaha) and third place Justin Barcia (Honda). Series points leader Christophe Pourcel (Kawasaki) was involved in a first turn crash that held him to seventh place. Pourcel holds a narrow points lead over Austin Stroupe (Suzuki), who finished fifth after being involved in the same first turn pileup.
