FMF/KTM Factory rider Kurt Caselli landed on the podium for the second time this season, this time finishing 3^rd overall at the second round of the WORCS in Primm, NV. 

The WORCS has switched to a two-moto format this year with the first moto running on Saturday afternoon and the second moto taking place on Sunday afternoon. Caselli remained consistent both days finishing 3^rd on Saturday and repeating that finish during Sunday’s moto for 3^rd place overall. 

During his first moto, Caselli garnered a 10^th place start. He spent the majority of the race climbing up to podium position and finished approximately one minute behind the leaders, Bobby Garrison and Taylor Roberts.

 “Saturday was a bit rough for me. I had some bike set up issues that plagued me early in the race but I was still able to make up some time and was glad to finish with a top three result,” remarked Caselli. “Sunday was much better as we were able to make some adjustments to my bike and it ran great for the second day. Unfortunately, I had another rough start but I was able to charge forward much quicker and only finished about 10 seconds off the pace of the leaders.”

Caselli, the reigning WORCS Champion, has mentioned that in order to remain in contention for a repeat Championship, he will need to finish on the podium at each event. He met his goal at the second round and now remains 2^nd in the overall point standings just five points behind series leader Bobby Garrison.

The second member of the FMF/KTM Racing Team, Mike Brown, had a touch of bad luck during Sunday’s moto that ruined his overall score. Brown put together a solid ride during Saturday’s moto to finish 5^th overall and was running in the same position for the majority of the race on Sunday. Unfortunately, on the final lap Brown ran out of gas and was not able to finish the race. His overall moto scores earned him 11^th for the weekend.
