On a rainy night in San Diego, Chad Reed (Honda) rode smooth and fast to take the Supercross main event victory ahead of second place Ryan Dungey (Suzuki) and third place James Stewart (Yamaha).  Points leader Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki) finished back in seventh place, but continues to maintain a slim lead over Stewart in the championship.

In the Western Region Lites main event, young Eli Tomac (Honda) took the first win of his career ahead of second place Tyla Rattray (Kawasaki) and third place Broc Tickle (Kawasaki).  Josh Hansen (Kawasaki) finished in sixth, but still leads the Western Region championship series.
