  • Freestone will hit a milestone this weekend, hosting its fifth AMA Pro Motocross national.

  • Memorial Day Weekend is the earliest Freestone has ever been on the series schedule.
  • Chad Reed has won the past two opening rounds of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
  • Reed now sits in a tie for 15th on the all-time wins list.
  • The victory for Honda was just the brand’s second since the 2007. Honda has not won multiple races in a season since 2004 with Ricky Carmichael.
  • Chad Reed and Ryan Dungey currently share the 450 Class points lead. Reed’s Moto 2 victory secured the tie-breaker for the overall win.
  • Ryan Villopoto completed just his second AMA Pro Motocross race since moving into the 450 Class in 2009. It marked just his third career start in the premier class.
  • For the second straight year, Hangtown was won by a first-time winner in the 250 Class.
  • Blake Baggett won his first 250 Class race in just his fourth start after suffering a season-ending injury during his rookie season in 2010.
  • Baggett becomes the 72nd different winner in 250 Class history.
