Husqvarna Finally Gets a Decent Website

When it was announced way back in June of 2007 that BMW was acquiring Husqvarna, I expected Husqvarna to get a thorough redesign of its poorly designed and implemented website. A website that reminded you of a mom-and-pop business (no offense to the mom-and-pop businesses out there) that didn’t seem to care about its image or its customers’ easy access to product information. Unfortunately, things didn’t really change. Until now.

In conjunction with the announcement of the Nuda 900R, Husqvarna finally debuted a redesigned site that looks professional and is easy to navigate. Take a look at it here.

LOL….you guys accusing someone else of having a Mom and Popish website is the book definition of ironic. You’re content is ok, but let’s just say at this point you should be striving for “Mom and Popish.”

“Decent” is the operative word…..it aint great.

There is still something of a mish-mash of italian and english on the site, but it’s an improvement over the old one. When viewing the main supermoto button, the description of an adventure in Italian apears below, though if you click on the adventure bike it opens up in English.

ever notice that nobody proofreads anything EVER in moto world…? i guess that person would have to be paid.

The specs for the SM630 is a jumbled mess of specs from three different bikes. Serious?

It’s a start, but they really need to improve the dealer network. If they were sold alongside BMW I would take a look.

in some select spots they are sold alongside bmw. i guess we’ll see more, but that’s still a call that gets made by the business owner… NOT the manufacturer.

I found several flaws and mistakes very quickly on this site. They don’t seem to take their web presence very seriously at Husqvarna.

There is no subject/verb match here. This is a fragment.

Why no Husky dealers in Colorado?

Damn! What’s next? Moto Guzzi fixing their site and stepping into the 21st century?
