Anaheim I Supercross Results

The opening round of the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series was held in Anaheim last evening, and defending champ Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki) stormed away from the field to score a convincing win ahead of second place Chad Reed (Honda) and third place Ryan Dungey (KTM).  James Stewart (Yamaha) finished in sixth position in his debut ride for his new team, JGR/Toyota Yamaha.  For additional details, results and points, visit the official Monster Energy site here.

Don’t bother following bubba this season. He was winded after his heat race and more than likely feels he doesn’t need to train hard to win. He believes all the announcers ‘fastest man on the planet’ BS. Like I’ve said before, no more championships for James.

If you turn off the TV everytime stewart crashes you are not going to see the end of many races

Everybody I heard talking about the race basically said the same thing:
    “That track sucked!”

I didn’t necessarily think that, but I was hoping for some kind of excitement in the Supercross main event.
Once Stewart crashed, I have to admit I turned the TV off because I was hoping he would be able to spice things up a bit.
I hope the next race is better.
