CORONA, CALIF (January 5, 2012) – Monster Energy and Feld Motor Sports® have teamed up to donate tickets to local Boys and Girls Clubs throughout the nation for selected races during the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season. The 2012 Monster Energy Supercross season kicks off this Saturday, January 7 at Anaheim’s Angel Stadium and will conclude in Las Vegas at Sam Boyd Stadium on Saturday, May 5.
In an effort to give back to the community Monster Energy created The Monster Energy Gives Back Program to support nonprofit organizations through fundraisers and charity events. The Boys and Girls Club is a perfect fit for this initiative and allows children the opportunity to go to a Monster Energy Supercross race that they may not have been able to experience. A lucky few may even get the chance to meet Monster Energy’s world-class athletes that are competing in the races.
“We are excited to give back to the Boys and Girls Clubs and to share our passion for what we do by providing kids the opportunity to see Monster Energy Supercross and also bringing them to a new environment that will hopefully inspire them in the same ways motorsports has inspired us,” said Terri Sacks, director and founder of The Monster Energy Gives Back philanthropic program.
“When Terri approached our team regarding Monster Energy Gives Back, we were touched by her passion for this project and immediately jumped on board”, said Charlie Mancuso, President, Feld Motor Sports.
