The Miller Motorsports round of the WSB championship saw defending champ Carlos Checa (Ducati) win Race 1 with a comfortable margin over Marco Melandri (BMW). Coming home third was Max Biaggi (Aprilia).
Checa crashed out of Race 2 while in the lead, allowing Melandri to take the win ahead of Jonathan Rea (Honda) in second and Biaggi in third.
