Max Biaggi (Aprilia) thrilled the home crowd at Misano yesterday with a double win that increased his points lead in the championship series. Filling out the podium in Race 1 was Carlos Checa (Ducati) in second and Davide Giugliano (Ducati) in third. Race 2 saw Jonathan Rea (Honda) and Leon Haslam (BMW) follow Biaggi home in second and third place, respectively.
