Dani Pedrosa (Honda) took his second win of the year at Le Mans. A wet race saw several of the favorites struggle, although Pedrosa stayed in control throughout the race. Cal Crutchlow (Yamaha) finished in second position, with Marc Marquez (Honda) charging through the field to take third away from Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati). Defending champ Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha) finished back in seventh position, nearly half a minute behind Pedrosa.
Pedrosa now has the points lead in the championship. For additional details, results and points, visit the official MotoGP site.

See Norm, you went and drove everyone away by saying they weren’t purists or true race fans.
lol
If the factory Yamaha that came on 12 th had been #11 then there would have been more comments.
Hard to applaud Speed when the GP race broadcast at 8 in the morning on Sunday instead of in the afternoons when it used to be.
Great race. Everyone except Lorenzo looked good. Dani put on a superb performance. Crutchlow proved what he is capable of. Marquez showed hes the real deal, getting pole, then coming from 10 th to podium in his first rain race on a MotoGP bike. Even team Ducati looked like winners with Dovi leading and Hayden being competitive. Rossi loked good until he lost the front end. Well not everyone looked good….geez you never even hear Edwards name anymore. Guess it doesnt matter if its a Kaw or BMW CRT bike.
Anyhow great race, can’t wait for the next one in 2 weeks with the expanded coverage Speed is promising.
re: “Guess it doesnt matter if its a Kaw or BMW CRT bike.”
correct, epic wobble is epic wobble.
Dude should hang it up… Or move to WSBK. He’s trashing his legacy at this point, for what can’t be that big of a paycheck. Or has Dorna threatened to bar him from WSBK?
Edwards should go play in the AMA, that might get me to finally start watching it again!
