Red Bull Hangtown Motocross Classic

- Hangtown enters its 45th year as a motocross national. It is the oldest race on the schedule.
- Riders from 12 different countries will attempt to qualify for the 250 and 450 Classes on Saturday afternoon.
- For the first time in Lucas Oil Pro Motocross history. former 450 Class Champions Ryan Dungey, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto and Chad Reed will line up together at Hangtown.
- In addition to the four past 450 champions, former 250 Champions Dean Wilson and Trey Canard join the superstar lineup in the 450 Class for 2013.
- Additionally, former overall race winners Mike Alessi, Josh Grant and Brett Metcalfe will also be lining up on the Hangtown starting line.
- Four past Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Motocross champions will make their Lucas Oil Pro Motocross debut this weekend at Hangtown – Cooper Webb, Adam Cianciarulo, Joey Savatgy and Justin Hill.
- At 16 years of age, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo is the youngest rider in the series.
450 Class Stats
- The first Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship race was held at Hangtown on April 8, 1974, with Billy Grossi winning on a Honda.

- Mike Alessi’s first-career victory in both the 250 Class and 450 Class came at Hangtown.
