Medford, Or. – Get revved up for the second annual 2013 125 Dream Race presented by Motorcycle Superstore Sept. 15th. After a very successful inaugural event last year, Motorcycle Superstore has partnered up with Motothenw.com and the Pacific Racing Organization to make this year even better.
The 125 Dream Race was created as a throwback to the times where two strokes were competitive and the smell of pre-mix filled the air. Held at the picturesque and historic Washougal Motocross facility, this venue provides the perfect location for such a special event. Last year saw 101 125’s hit the dirt and the organizers are expecting an even better turnout in 2013. With a track filled with 125 two strokes, the 125 Dream Race will provide for some excellent racing, fun and timeless bench racing.
With the involvement of Motorcycle Superstore this year’s prizes will be even better. Like last year, the event will feature a cash lottery and a chance to win big money just for signing up. Yes, you read that right; you have an equal chance of winning cash just for showing up. In addition, there is an added video contest for all of the hardworking media in the Northwest. Videos of the event will be posted on motothenw.com and Facebook following the race, the videos will then be voted on with the winner receiving $500.
Not only will this race be so unique, but will also be used for raising awareness for breast cancer. With many motocross families all over the nation being affected by this terrible cancer, Motorcycle Superstore, Motothenw.com, Pacific Racing Organization and Washougal MX Park are looking to give back.
Motorcycle Superstore is proud to be the title sponsor of the second annual 125 Dream Race and breast cancer awareness event. Motorcycle Superstore’s passion for motorcycle racing has fueled their desire to partner up with MototheNW.com and Washougal MX Park to put on a fun and family oriented event. The staff behind the scenes at this online motorcycle retail giant is very excited to help promote breast cancer awareness within the local racing community and support the effort to find a cure for a very serious illness.
“We are eager to get involved with the grass-roots of racing and riding which has made sponsorship of a local 125 two-stroke race a no brainer,” said Scott Huddleston, VP of marketing. “Our desire is to help out our local racing community and remind everyone of why we all ride; for fun!” This unique event is a great way for Motorcycle Superstore to reach out to their customers and is a great start for their future involvement in Northwest racing.
