Points leader Tom Sykes (Kawasaki) scored a double win in France earlier this weekend to stretch his lead in the championship with just the Jerez round remaining. The podium was filled out in each race by Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Eugene Laverty. Guintoli finished 2nd in race 1, while Laverty got the better of him in race 2.

Those headlight stickers look rediculous!
and that is being nice…
Yeah, who are they trying to be? NASCAR?
as local dealers sees a modest up-tick in sales of the Zed, k-heavy says they look brilliant.
Great racing all weekend and Kawi has 2nd & 3rd in manufacturers points in SuperSport as well. Although I was pulling for Lowe in SS Sofugluo rode a great race.
I think it is the first time that Kawasaki win the world SBK since Scott Russell dit it(with the beloved 1993 zx-7). Wow, 20 years, nice to see you back on top Kawasaki !
KA-POW…!!! kawasaki powah. (Japanese boffin voice)
Can we expect (hope?) for Kawasaki to re-enter MotoGP? I enjoyed seeing representation from more of the global manufacturers in the MotoGP field. The Yamaha vs Honda showdown for top 10 spots is not very interesting.
re: “Can we expect (hope?) for Kawasaki to re-enter MotoGP?”
cancel Christmas.
When will we see Yamaha back in WSB?
cancel Christmas.
I don’t do modern day witchcraft rituals. Paint a blue horse, or for that matter, a blue Superbike on the cave wall and that’s just as creditable. On the other hand, a straight answer will suffice. There was talk, at one time, of Yamaha coming back to WSK in 14. Is that rumor still relevant?
Don’t forget the 8th and 9th spots that Ducati always occupy…
Nice for Kawasaki to win a WSB title sould Sykes do it.
