Tom Sykes (Kawasaki) and his teammate Loris Baz finished first and second in each of the two Donington Park races yesterday. With his Double, Sykes re-takes the WSB championship points lead. Sykes came from a long way back to win both races, including a very impressive charge from 11th place in Race 1. Finishing third behind the Kawasaki duo in Race 1 was Alex Lowes (Suzuki). Sylvain Guintoli (Aprilia) took third in Race 2.

race 1 was really great to watch Tom pick apart the competition. Race 2 turned into a train ride with each of the riders in the front separated by a few seconds, but race 1 made up for race 2.
Hoping for Laverty to stay on his bike and compete. I know he has the capacity to fight for it. Can’t wait to watch them ride in Sepang next.
Race 1 was particularly good. Baz reminds me of Xaus a bit.
Wish I could watch it without upping my cable bill or sitting at a computer for a couple hours.

do yourself a favour, sell all your kit and get OUT of motorcycling… IMMEDIATELY. why…? it’s a RED FLAG you cannot afford this hobby.

I can and do afford my fetish (motorcycling). I keep a fleet of motorcycles in fine fettle in all facets, trials, MX,sportbike, dualsport. But don’t go out of my way to watch other people ride, and bureaucrats to ply their trade. When there’s nothing better to do I might watch a race, (seems like this was a good one) but I don’t live vicariously by them.
I’ll acquiesce to your knowledge of fit of womens undergarments. I’d rather buy and use a couple gas tanks gas than support some crooked cable companies and the way Dorna is screwing the sport. I don’t support the NFL,NCAA,MLB if I can help it. I’m sorry I choose not to afford to be a couch biker.

unfortunately, your thought process is Flawed (capital F this). you can’t harm one without harming the other. the “other” in this case is the industry, the riders, and ultimately YOURSELF.
Dorna only recently seized control of WSBK, but this “cut off your nose to spite your face” behaviour was occurring LOOONG before Carmelo ever got his mitts on the franchise. in fact, this “collective myopia” is what helped bring it to fruition.
I had the good fortune to watch it at a friends house, online. I believe he paid the wsbk subscription…all races, including pre-race shows are available to watch anytime, online. free, no, but sure seemed worth it to me. guess Ill have to lay out some funds…
