Still following in the footsteps of his famous Uncle Joey, young Michael Dunlop looks ready to add to his 7 Isle of Man TT championships (including 4 last year) as he set the fastest lap during practice for the multi-day event beginning tomorrow. Dunlop recorded a blistering 131.501 mph average during a practice lap aboard his BMW S 1000 RR superbike. This lap time was just 1.3 seconds outside the outright lap record. The Superbike event is tomorrow.

thanks for that heads up. my DVR hadn’t tagged it.
Been doing my best to follow the action on internet radio at work. I really need to experience the TT at least once.
Do they clear the island of dogs, goats, and other pesky varmints that could really ruin one’s day during these races?
No, but there are hundreds of volunteer marshalls and they do thier best.

LOL! Making me hungry!
shrimp on the barbie…? yeah, no.
I would like to wish everyone a safe race.
It would be great to see Guy Martin win one.
He admitted it was a risk to go to the BMW, but it seems to be paying off.
You must go at least once Bob – I went in 2000 and the memories of the 10 days spent on the Island will live with me forever.
The I.O.M. has been on my bucket list for years. Wish I were there now!
Dunlop (and most of those riders) are simply fearless!
The coverage last year was best ever – looking forward to it.
