It wasn’t just the Motegi race that was cut into by baseball.

Baseball locker room celebration cut into about 12 laps of Aaragon.

I watch about 3 hours of the tube a month so this pisses me off when my very limited time is molested like this.

well look at it as a public service. they’re just reminding us where we rank in the grand scheme of things, lest we forget.

It’s all about money! Those “grown men chasing little balls” spend a lot of money on that activity. Uh, never mind!

Don’t forget all the Fantasy “grown men chasing little balls” leagues that people spend vast amounts of their life trying to perfect…

Imagine if MotoGP had fantasy racing (“Who do you have tweaking your suspension and traction control settings”?) we might get more TV time…

Next season just buy the MotoGP 99 Euro package and be done with idiot network programers. It’s really a good deal and you get to decide when to watch. Eighteen race weekends, three races each plus every practice and qualifying session. Run the videos through your TV, watch on your PC, laptop or tablet. Using today’s exchange rate that’s $125.73 for the season which is a measly $6.99 per weekend event or $2.33 per race.

        re: “$2.33 per race.”

therein lies the problem. that price tag is too close to the magical “free” to be valued or appreciated…

if it ain’t free, they ain’t doin’ it.

        • Curly says:

So sorry, the actual price for a season now is 99.99 euros or about $126.99. That makes the price per race a wallet vacuuming $2.35 per race and I guess that just puts it over the top for most folks.

First off Congrats to MM. What a racer he has turned out to be. If it wasn’t for mistakes due to inexperience and youthful enthusiasm he would be nearly unbeatable.

Second congrats to Lorenzo who finally looked like Lorenzo and has come out of virtually nowhere to be in contention for second in the championship.

Third Congrats to Rossi..my golly , I had written him off when he was riding the Duc and he has proven that given a competitive machine the ” old man” can indeed still be competitive and at times show flashes of brilliance. He looked like a rocket at the beginning of that race.

Fourth..Dani..I have always rooted for you. What has happened? Running around at the back of the alien pack has never been what you were about. You have always lacked the killer instinct, now it appears you have lost the desire to be competitive. get on the gas man! 2 nd is still within reach but you have to want it, fight for it!

The race for second is going to be exciting… My money is on Lorenzo.

Congratulations, Lorenzo. Glad to see you came out of the funk you were in earlier this season.
