Suzuki has developed a very nice video summarizing the development of its new MotoGP race bike that will debut this year beneath talented youngsters Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales. Young, hungry riders bring a certain dynamic to a team, which you can feel as you watch the video. Here it is:

it’s a crossplane.
Somebody smarter than me said “There are innovators, imitators and idiots.”. Hopefully they aren’t the latter. My problem is that when someone says Suzuki I picture the Hopper kicking a steaming bike.
I agree… sounds like a crossplane engine. The riders are complimentary but it’s always exciting to ride a new bike. The engineering facility and team looks small.

That it is. I have a R1 and absolutely love the motor! Sure it’s not the latest and greatest tech but a lot can be said for having a bike with character.

hoping the they make MORE than a cameo, but this first takes someone’s cash and an announcement of intent, but it’s now 12 Jan. season starts 16 Feb.
