As websites around the world try their best to fool their readers today, we thought we would just go ahead and be up front. April fools!
Two-time MotoGP champ Casey Stoner, just 29 years of age (7 years younger than the guy who won the Qatar race last Sunday) is coming out of retirement to race on 2 wheels for the first time since his retirement at the end of the 2012 MotoGP season! Stoner will race a Honda Superbike, no less, as part of a team contesting the 2015 Suzuka 8 Hours, and will replace Dani Pedrosa on the Repsol Honda MotoGP team following the next Austin round as Pedrosa undergoes medical treatment for an arm pump issue that has been plaguing him for at least 2 seasons.
Good one, huh?
Dammit- got me hook line and sinker!!!
Nice one Dirck 🙂
And here’s another good April Fool’s. Dani Pedrosa is returning to Moto 3 next year to ride for KTM

..and DuHamel is replacing Pedrosa according to SuperbikePlanet
Him racing the 8hr has been in the news for a week. Is this how we’re doing April Fools jokes now?
Did you hear that MM ran off the first turn of the season’s first race and finished 5th to winner, Valentino Rossi!?? Oh wait….
he made his money –
Its like the end of the movie Ferris Bueler where he loooks into the camera and says “Its Over, Go Home”
Casey. I’m going back to Ducati!!
Let’s have some fun with this. What do you think they’re saying to each other.
“Casey San, we’ve talked about this. You can’t keep showing up in your kit on April 1. It’s depressing.”
“What are you talking about, I iMessaged you I was coming.”
“What is YouMessage?”
“These new Redbull condoms are AWESOME!”
You could have added that he’s giving set-up advise to Ryan Villopoto’s team in MXGPs. That would be hilarious.
Unlike most April fools jokes, this is one you wish were true.
It just might be if Pedrosa can’t get his arms healthy.
Not if Casey has any say in the matter
