MV AGUSTA REINFORCES RACE PRECISION AND RACE INSPIRATION WITH LAUNCH OF LIMITED EDITION MODELS
BRISTOL, PA October 28th, 2015 – MV Agusta’s on-going product strategy is to embed precision craftsmanship, design and racing features in Limited Edition, race-inspired models. Five Limited Edition models launched over the past 15 months include:
- MV Agusta F4 RC: Recently entered the USA market in September 2015, this MY15 bike is the exact version of the MV Agusta Reparto Corse bike that debuted at Phillips Island, Australia for the first race in the World Super Bike (WSBK) class. It includes the same technical features and precision race materials of the Factory race bike. Only 250 in this collection worldwide and less than 20 entered the USA market.
- MV Agusta F3 800 RC & MV Agusta F3 675 RC: Soon entering the USA market in November 2015, this MY16 bike is inspired by the World SuperSport class. Designed as race-replicas with several billet aluminum parts (such as anodized mirror caps, brake/clutch levers, “Sport” License Plate Holder, foot pegs), a fiberglass rear seat cover and a boxed aluminum rear stand as additional features including signatures by the MV Agusta Reparto Corse World Supersport pilots, Jules Cluzel and Lorenzo Zanetti on each bike. Only 350 in this collection worldwide and a total of 30 bikes combined will enter the USA market shortly.
- MV Agusta F3 800 “Ago”: Entered the USA in August 2014, this MY15 bike is inspired by, and carries the signature of, the legendary 15 time champion Giacomo Agostini. Only 300 in this collection worldwide and less than 30 entered the USA market.
- Upcoming 2016 model Lewis Hamilton – MV Agusta Limited Edition Dragster RR: To compete at the highest level in Formula 1 requires both focus and a vehicle that perfectly meets the needs of the pilot. Three time Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship winner Hamilton worked closely with the MV Agusta Castiglioni Research Center design team to create a bike that has perfectly matched his requirements when on two wheels. Only 244 in this collection worldwide and 10 bikes will enter the USA market.
“Whether the race inspiration comes from MV Agusta’s legendary race history or through the collaboration with Mercedes-Benz AMG, these Limited Edition bikes are sought after by passionate American enthusiasts and collectors who want to both capture a piece of history and also have the option to enjoy an amazing ride.” said Helen Vasilevski, CEO, MV Agusta USA LLC. “As well, the MV Agusta team in the USA would like to congratulate Lewis Hamilton on his victory and clinching of the 2015 F1 Championship at COTA in Austin, Texas. It was an exciting climax to a wild-weather weekend and a race of uncertainties with delayed starts, lead changes, tire malfunctions, and superb racing in changing conditions.”
Lewis Hamilton joins Sir Jackie Stewart as the only British driver to win three Formula 1 drivers’ titles and now has his own personalized MV Agusta to provide a different type of exhilaration.
Due to the limited nature of these bikes, and that the USA is the largest performance motorcycle market in the world, consumers interested in owning one of these 5 Limited Editions should contact their local MV Agusta dealer to place deposits. Where there is no local dealer, they may contact the MV Agusta USA office at +1 215 781 1770 directly to get information about nearby dealerships.
