Cypress, CA – June 8, 2016 – Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., today introduced its 2017 TW200, XT250, and WR250R dual sport models.
With its terrain-conquering tires, low seat height, electric starting, and easy-going on-/off-road capabilities, the TW200 is unlike any other motorcycle on the market, which is a big reason for its continued popularity. The 2017 TW200 will be available in Mineral Blue.
Also offered in Mineral Blue for 2017 is the fuel-injected XT250, with its long-travel suspension and powerful front and rear disc brakes for superb stopping power on both paved and unpaved surfaces.
Available in Team Yamaha Blue and directly descended from Yamaha’s YZ-F motocross bikes, as well as its off-road WR models, the dual-sport WR250R delivers a little more emphasis on “sport.” Not exactly an enduro model and not a streetbike, either, the WR250R is the pefect choice for enthusiasts who ride off-road more than on.
The 2017 TW200 will retail for $4,599 and will be available in Yamaha dealerships beginning in August, the XT250 for $5,199 and be available in June, and the WR250R carries a MSRP of $6,699 and will be available beginning in September.
